Picture this: it's a Thursday in late July. You pull up to Tasty's at River Rock in Ryley, the Moonshine Cafe in Tofield, or Crossfit Sherwood Park, and there is a bag of vegetables for you that were growing in the ground just days before.
Inside: fresh carrots still smelling like soil. Cherry tomatoes that are nothing like the ones at the grocery store. A cucumber or two from our greenhouse. Some zucchini. Maybe beets, or kohlrabi, or cauliflower, or swiss chard, whatever reached peak ripeness that week at Maple Park Farm.
That's what a CSA box feels like. And if you have never experienced it, this summer might be the year to try.
What CSA Actually Means
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It is one of the most direct ways to connect with the food that feeds your family. You sign up at the beginning of the season and receive a weekly box of freshly harvested vegetables for 10 weeks, starting July 16th.
It's seasonal eating, exactly as it's meant to be.
What's in the Box Each Week
Every Maple Park Farm CSA box includes a rotating mix of what's growing best that week. You can expect things like:
• Staple vegetables: carrots, potatoes, onions, the things that anchor a week of cooking
• Short-season vegetables: zucchini, beans, peas, beets, Swiss chard, kohlrabi, whatever's at peak that week
• Greenhouse vegetables: our tomatoes, cucumbers, or peppers, grown right here in the greenhouse.
You also receive our exclusive weekly member newsletter, which includes the veggie list for that week, storage tips so nothing goes to waste, prep ideas, and recipes. It's the difference between opening a box and knowing exactly what to do with everything in it.
Two Sizes: One for Every Household
Our Small Veggie Box is $290 for the season, just $29 a week, and is designed for couples and smaller households. Our Large Veggie Box is $390, or $39 a week and is built for families of four to six.
If you find yourself somewhere in the middle, you can supplement a Small Box with à la carte orders from our online store, delivered alongside your weekly box.
Payment plans are available if you would like to spread out the cost. Just email us at info@mapleparkfarm.com, and we will get you sorted.

Is a CSA Right for You?
Here's the simplest way to know: if you enjoy fresh vegetables but don't have the time or space for a full garden, a CSA delivers the garden to you.
If you want to know exactly how and where your food was grown, we can tell you everything. We grew it. And if you want to feel more connected to the land and the community around you, there's nothing quite like opening a box of vegetables that someone here put their hands into the soil for.
We still have spots available for the 2026 season, but the deadline to sign up is June 20th. That's this Saturday.
